I have long been fascinated by The Revelation of John shown to him by Jesus while he was on Patmos. The last book of The Bible, it is full of symbolism and mystery. Multiple places in The Bible men are told that they would not understand nor would anyone else until the time of the revelation and last days:
Daniel 8:26 New King James Version (NKJV)
26 “And the vision of the evenings and mornings
Which was told is true;
Therefore seal up the vision,
For it refers to many days in the future.”
Revelation 10:4 New King James Version (NKJV)
4 Now when the seven thunders uttered their voices, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, “Seal up the things which the seven thunders uttered, and do not write them.”
Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14
I know there is a GOD and I know HIS SON died for me, not because I was there but because of the relationship I have with HIM through the HOLY SPIRIT. I capitalize not for emphasis but out of respect for My Creator. I do not know exactly how The Creator is to be understood as I believe that I Am is beyond our understanding at this time. I know that The Creator loves me and everyone else and desires that none perish. I do not know exactly how The Creator wants to use me but I believe The Creator shows and guides me daily. Being cautious of the temptations of the enemy, I attempt to understand and provide insight to others while knowing that I do not have all of the answers. This is why I combine my perspectives with those of others who have convinced me of their own knowledge and beliefs based on Biblical Truth.
I don’t know, but I firmly believe that the first 5 chapters of John’s Revelation describe his vision of Jesus and His description of the 7 churches of that day as Jesus saw them. I believe that description of the churches are just as relevant today as they were then. These are not physical churches now, I believe they describe individual believers based on where they are in their own spiritual life. I encourage everyone who is a believer in Christ Jesus to read the descriptions of all of the churches and try to determine which one describes you best. I also believe that you can move from one church to another but be honest, HE knows. If you are not happy with the church that describes you, try to be better. Remember, it is not our actions that save us but our belief in our Redeemer. Fighting temptation daily is what HE wants to see from us to show HIM and ourselves that we truly do believe and hopefully one day KNOW. Know Him.
The four horsemen of the apocalypse have been referred to in so many media that it would be unlikely for very many to not know the reference. I provide my own perspective at the link below but it is a part of the vision which has eluded certainty for hundreds of years.
The following two videos describe a celestial event which occurred in 2017. I personally don’t know but believe that we are witnessing signs and seasons warning us of how short time is now. The first video is short and gives a great synopsis and the second video is a bit longer and gives more perspective. Both videos are speculative so take them for what they are and pray on your own thoughts and feelings regarding the information.
Revelation 12 New King James Version (NKJV)
The Woman, the Child, and the Dragon
12 Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. 2 Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth.
3 And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads. 4 His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born. 5 She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne. 6 Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.
I appreciate that although “The Rapture” was mentioned neither of these two claimed that it was going to happen on that date. Given that it has come and gone the question remains, is it significant? Prior to the current events I might have thought it just interesting and filed it away which is exactly what I did at least a year ago when I saw the first mentions of this sign. Now, I feel somewhat differently.
If Revelation 12:1-2 is describing a celestial event I have no reason to believe that Rev 12:3-4 isn’t another celestial event to come. The description in the following verses gives me pause. If the first two verses describe an event that we have witnessed then the event to come may not be as event less. Apparently we can see the dragon now but it is not red and fiery. Does that mean something may happen soon in the constellation of Draco? If what is described happens literally everyone will witness and everyone will proclaim the name of the Lord. Look up for your redemption is near.
Please get to know the Jesus of The Bible. Repent of your wrong ways and develop a relationship with your Creator by praying quietly and alone every day until you feel comfortable praying with others then do that too. HE is always listening and HE will be there to carry you home.
